Throughout the year 2021, we’ve been celebrating our 25th year in business as a party planning company. Last month, we published a blog post summarizing our journey from a collaboration in our basement to what eventually became Innovative Party Planners! Now that December is here, we’ve officially begun our 26th year in operation! We’ve come a long way, and we’re ready to take on the next 25 years with the same level of creativity and dedication that we’ve embodied from day one. After taking you through our journey in our previous post, we’d like to share a little more about where we’ve ended up and what we learned along the way as we gear up for another great year.

Throughout the month of November, we’ve been celebrating our 25th year in business as a party planning company by sharing posts on our social media channels! Our 26th year begins in December, and we can’t wait to take on our next chapter of creating one of a kind event experiences and giving back to the community. Before that, we’d love to share a little bit about how we got our start and the lessons we have learned along the way in our first 25 years!

On July 22, we were honored to produce this year’s virtual “Distinguished Women Awards” for Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. We first met last year when we were selected to create the first successful virtual edition of this yearly event. This was back when virtual events just started their rise in popularity because of the shutdown. After one full year of hosting virtual events, we learned a lot and brought plenty of fresh ideas to the table for this year’s ceremony.

The start of the decade has introduced a lot of new challenges for everyone, including event planners across the nation. We’re very thankful to be part of several social media communities where event planners share advice and experiences pertaining to their own challenges in 2021.

After making the trip out to Hawaii for her sibling’s wedding, Ashlyn knew she wanted to capture the island aesthetic for her upcoming Bat Mitzvah. In June of this year, we were able to help her do just that!

Now more than ever in the event planning industry, we have to be aware that unpredictable situations can occur. The pandemic has introduced an increased need for flexibility in just about everything in life, and events are no exception. Luckily, you can avoid the headache of dealing with event hiccups or even cancellations by making sure you have a solid event insurance policy in place.
