Hitting a Home Run at Davis’ Camden Yards Bar Mitzvah
Over 200 excited guests visited Camden Yards for Davis’ Bar Mitzvah. This event hit it out of the park from start to finish! Every detail was meticulously chosen to create a fun, baseball-centered atmosphere. From the moment that visitors walked through the picturesque arches of Camden Yards and visited the dugout to take in the stunning vistas that only the players and coaching staff normally get to see, Davis’ Camden Yards Bar Mitzvah was an event to remember.
For this Camden Yards Bar Mitzvah, we created unique lamp-style centerpieces filled with real baseballs and topped with a custom lit lampshade. We crafted additional centerpieces accented with turf, sunflower seeds and stitch pattern custom ribbon that brought the sights and smells of the ballpark inside. Pillar candles with stitch pattern, floating candles and warm votives made the space feel warm despite the February chill in the air.
Baseball and the vivid Orioles orange were integrated into every detail of the event. Areas of the space were divided up with orange baseball pennants. The night began with a tour of Camden Yards, followed by trivia and a scavenger hunt. Guests grabbed their baseball table cards straight out of turf before enjoying delicious stadium bites including a french fry bar, nacho bar, ice cream and funnel cakes. The photo booth was fun for the kids and the adults, as plenty of props were available for hilarious pictures.
The guests also enjoyed a visit from The Oriole Bird! He stopped by for photographs and to pass on his congratulations to Davis and his family (and took a few trips around the dance floor). Every attendee was given a fun sweatshirt emblazoned with Davis’ Camden Yards Bar Mitzvah logo to remember the occasion.
Before boarding a bus to return home, all of the guests were treated with warm donuts to complement their sweet memories of this Camden Yards Bar Mitzvah. It was a pleasure to work with Davis’ family to create such a fantastic celebration of Davis and his love of Camden Yards.
