Zozzie Golden
Event Designer

With more than 20 years of event planning experience, Zozzie works with clients throughout the entire party planning process. She also enjoys researching unique and creative event materials and working in our expansive art studio. Her experience as an art teacher, a fundraising volunteer in the community, as a mother and now grandmother, enables her to handle each client with a personal touch!

Zozzie has been recognized by her peers for her talent in design competitions, including top designer of Baltimore NACE Uncorked! 2012 and 2013. Zozzie was a founding partner of Zozzie & Heidi Innovative Party Planners.

Along with traveling to far and distant parts of the world, Zozzie is passionate about animal rights. During the summer of 2010, Zozzie and her husband traveled throughout China. The highlight of their trip was a visit to the Bifengxia Panda Reserve where Zozzie got to hold and play with the pandas. We honored Zozzie at Baltimore NACE Uncorked! 2012 designing our award winning table theme ‘Pandamonium’ in honor of her trip to China. Zozzie has also traveled to the Galapagos Islands, Churchill Manitoba, as well as throughout Europe.

Zozzie, who is from Montreal Quebec, studied at McGill University and received a Bachelor of Education in Art, in 1976. Baltimore became her home in 1978 when Zozzie and her husband David moved to Maryland so he could continue his studies in Allergy. They raised their children in Baltimore and she was an active volunteer at Beth T’filoh Community School where her children attended. That is where she and Heidi met. She is now an active volunteer at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School where she is the chair of the Grandparent's Leadership Team.

And...to answer everyone’s question: Zozzie’s real name is Roslyn. It was mispronounced by a cousin who couldn’t say Rozzie and ended up saying Zozzie – It Stuck!
